1. Using Otium
These terms are between you and Otium. By using the website or player, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service. Questions can be sent to support@otiumplayer.com.
2. Bring your own authorized source
Otium is an independent media player. Otium does not supply, host, sell or distribute TV channels, playlists, films, series or radio streams. You must obtain your own lawful source and all permissions needed to access and play it. An Otium account does not include an IPTV provider subscription or grant content rights.
Otium is not affiliated with your IPTV provider. Source availability, accuracy, program guides, media quality and permitted use are controlled by the relevant provider or rights holder. Use only content you own or are authorized to access.
3. Early testing and availability
Otium is being prepared for release. Access to testing builds, where offered, is through the testing arrangements provided to you. The coming-soon website does not provide a public app download or guarantee a launch date. Testing features may change, fail or be unavailable. Keep any information you need independently and report problems without sharing secrets.
Playback depends on the source, network, operating system, device and media format. Browser playback also depends on provider CORS/HTTPS support, browser codecs and autoplay restrictions. No universal compatibility or uninterrupted access is promised. The browser experience has no media downloads or offline watching.
4. Accounts and connection security
Keep your sign-in, provider credentials, pairing approvals and recovery information secure. Approve only devices you control or trust. You are responsible for activity you authorize; tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. Your Otium account and your provider account are separate.
Optional provider-connection sync is off by default. Enabling it permits the processing described in the Privacy Policy. It does not guarantee permanent backup or access to a source after the provider disables it.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Otium for unlawful access, infringement, redistribution without permission, fraud, harassment or interference with other users or systems. Do not bypass access controls, DRM, provider restrictions or license protections. Do not submit malicious content or attempt unauthorized access to accounts or devices. Nothing here limits rights that applicable law gives you, including lawful software interoperability rights.
6. Payments and third parties
This website does not sell subscriptions, accept payments or provide checkout. No price, trial, paid entitlement or public subscription availability is offered by this coming-soon site. Any future mobile purchase offer will show its own price and conditions before purchase.
You arrange and pay for third-party content or provider access directly with that provider. Otium cannot cancel or refund a third-party provider subscription. These terms do not replace the terms of Apple, Google, your provider or other services you choose.
7. Intellectual property
Otium’s branding, interface and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms allow you to use the service for its intended lawful purpose; they do not transfer ownership. Third-party media, names, logos and software remain subject to their respective owners’ rights and licenses.
8. Ending use and deleting data
You may stop using Otium at any time. Use Account settings to delete an account, or follow the Account and data deletion page to request help without the app. Removing the app alone does not delete cloud account data or cancel any external subscription.
Otium may restrict access to address security incidents, unlawful use or material violations, subject to applicable law. Where appropriate, we will provide an explanation or a way to contact support. Account deletion and retention are described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Responsibility and your statutory rights
To the extent permitted by law, testing software and the service are provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every source, or prevention of data loss. Otium is not responsible for a third-party provider’s content or performance beyond what applicable law requires.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes mandatory consumer rights. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent allowed by law.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Otium develops. The date above identifies the current version; material changes will be communicated as appropriate. Contact support@otiumplayer.com with questions, support requests or rights-holder notices. Please identify the issue without sending passwords or complete source URLs.
